Is it possable to take a 2.10 game and continue on it in a newer version?
(2.11 b10b, b12?)
Old with new?
Going up versions is usually OK. There may be occasional issues with features from 2.10 and the newest beta when new features are implemented. This may force you to make some minor adjustments upon each new release, but they generally work fine.
Going backwards is not recommended simply because features you may use in the latest versions may not be available in older versions of ZC.
If you are not that experienced, I would stick with one version (probably 2.10 since it’s the last full release) so that you get used to the editor and you actually finish your first quest instead of constantly stopping to upgrade.
K. I notisted that on one screen there were 2 bats and 1 bubble. BUT, it put
Patra in for some reason...? Do you know why?
What version did you start this quest in? There was a bug in 2.10 that sometimes put the wrong enemies on the screens from quests older than 2.10. If this is your own quest, look at that room under the editor for the same version and try to replace the enemies in the room and try again.
I used 2.10.
Strange. When I play the game it does that, but when I open the enemie window, its fine. I play it again, and its fine... (I played it in 2.11 b11b,and that happend) I will probably stick with 2.10.
I tried to duplicate this in beta 12 and it worked fine for me. You somehow must have fixed it.
Ok. Also, eyeball A messes up too. Looks down all the time exept it looks left
too. Is beta 12 more bug free then 11?
Well, I would check out 12b. It fixes some major fatal bugs that both 11 and 12 had. You have to read through the threads to see exactly what was changed, but you don't crash when you grab the triforce anymore.

12B is out!?!? I thought only 12 was out.🙄
It was supposed to fix a bug that wouldn't allow custom quests to load. However, it did not work.
Just make sure to back up your quest file if you choose to use a 2.11 beta for any part of the quest-building process. That way, you can go back to a bug-free 2.10 version of your quest if you have problems. Once you save your quest in 2.11, you cannot revert back to 2.10, so with a backup copy, you can try to use 2.11 and not have to worry as much about having your quest subjected to bugs due to the programming of ZC 2.11.
I think the 2.11b10b is more bug free then either the 2.11b11 or b12c.
You could finish a quest in the b10b but would have to work around a bug or two, where the b11 crashes with the triforce, and b12c seems really unstable.
any 2.11 is really unstable..
