Very odd sound bug

And there are reports of a related bug that requires playing the Lost Woods midi in ZQuest to reenable ZC sounds.

I have no idea what could be going on...??

I can confirm that happened to me once. I figured it was just an issue on my end. I am not sure it what I did has worked for anyone else though.

possibly the volume for midi in the volume panel is turned way down and playing the lost woods midi adjusts the volume to 50% or higher?
