Bug? or mistake on my part?

I don't know whether this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong. Here is the problem:

No matter what I do to the free-form combo attribute, it goes at the same break-neck speed. Now, I put in the correct speed, accel, and stuff, and it flies! What am I doing wrong, or am I doing anything wrong, or is the speed for a free form combo just different?

I know, I guess we'll have to wait for jman to give a full explaination of freeform combos, I bet he has a lot of work in the betas, so it's better not to bother him.

Try using negative numbers.

The higher the number, the faster it goes--it goes really fast at like 8 or 9. Test it out by using 1. Then if its too slow, use 2. If 2 is too fast, use 1.5 or something.

Also bare in mind that + or - indicates direction, having no bearing on speed. So an x speed of -2 is an object going left faster than an x speed of +1, going right at a speed of 1.

hmm.... so mine goes 127 pixels per tick and a tick is 1/60 of a second... but wait thats not fast anyway, right? it still zooms way too fast! wait wait wait wait a second.... I think i found a bug then

Actually, that is SUPER FAST.

Master_of_power keep in mind that zelda classic and all its measurements are based off the default resoloution of x=320 y=240... 127 pixels per tick is a little over half of y and less then half of x... this is insanely fast.

In one second, 127 pixels per tick is 7620 pixels. Think about that for a second. I think you were dividing, not multiplying, which is why it sounded fine in your head.
