Cset of Game icon...

The game icon change when Link is wearing a new Ring right ?
I don't want my hero to change is color by a Ring... (I simply not gave a tile change with the Ring item.)
But the Cset of icons puzzled me...:shakeno:
For the first Ring it's the Cset 7 but the color don't match with my Cset 7.... 😕
I want to draw someting as an 2nd icon but there's this color problem...

The Rings use special colors on Extra Sprite Palette 1. The only main CSet Link uses is Cset 6. Change CSets 6-8 on ESP 1 to change the Ring Colors.

The icons are esp1 csets 10. 11, and 12

Oh.

It might help to read all the posts in a topic in which you ask a question. :unhappy:

I've read it but... :shakeno: Sorry !

But can I select this ESP 1 to draw with the cset ?? I can only switch with the cset of the main in the tile editor...

Someone else might be able to tell you otherwise, but I don't recall being able to draw using ESPs.

So I must write the 16 color of this cset on a sheet of paper, draw with an other one and refer to my note... ok. Thanks !

To change the Extra Sprite Palletes (ESP), go to Quest>Graphics>Palettes>Extra and choose ESP 1. CSets 6-8 are Blue through Gold Ring Link sprites, while 10-13 are Game Icons.

To use that cset in the editor. go to graphics>sprites, click on that cset and click "load to cset 9".
Then in the tile editor use cset 9 to draw.

Bull Bizard wrote:I didn't know that 😊
If I do the "load to cset 9" will the current cset9 be erased ?

Yes, it will be erased unless you make a copy of it somewhere else.

NO it just loads it so you can work with it, then when you exit the tile pages it resets it back to normal.
You can load ANY cset like that so you can edit/color tiles that use those csets, like gleeoks, ganon, whatever.

Oh ok ! 😊
To draw aquamentus I've used the "sheet of paper" technique 🙄 ... It will be usefull ! Thanks a lot !
