System Error, HD Xtreme was an exception. That quest is ridiculously and absurdly hard. Octoroks on crack and death knights were par for the course. It was reasonable to include just the first two levels of cheats.

forget about the other games guys
No one is telling me how I can get all my
zquests to open

well, if I'm understanding correctly, some you can't open because they are passworded by author's design. You can't open up a quest if it is passworded.

What do I mean about what? i've posted quite a few
messages this week !!! heheheheeh

Mottzilla wrote:You're most definitely mistaken. ZConsole is for cheating in quests while you play them. I've never released any programs that affect the ZQuest quest editor. If it did not work for you, you may be using the wrong version of ZC or ZConsole as they must match version numbers. ZConsole will tell you what version it is programmed for in the title bar or about box. It also may or may not work for you if you are using an older windows such as Windows 95/98/ME. Or if you have an older ZConsole for an older ZC it might not work in Windows NT/2k/XP. These were related to differences in windows kernels and how some version of ZConsole functioned. I believe the last one I released works for both Win9X and beyond.

for some reason, I can't get any of the other quests to open
but have not given up 😊

I don't think you understand. You CAN NOT OPEN other people's QST files in ZQuest if they protect it. It's just tough shit for you because no one is going to help you open someone else's quest. You could ask the author of the quest, but chances are the answer is no.

You can always use
Quest Announcement/Discussion
For help in wherever you're stuck.....Or got a bug in the Quest.

I wrote the zHelper program. If you use it, you are lame, fair warning. I made if for newbies to use if they can't quite find something, or figure something out. (I often get frustrated playing quests.) The only thing that you are cheating is yourself by using the tool.

By the way, it is only for v2.10, and I offer *no* support. It was just a quick application I wrote in about 15 minutes.

I like the program and you did verry good with it......

I usually play the quests awhile before I use zhelper

thanks for the program !!!!

Need to be able to use zhelper for version 190 quests
I like them better than 210 quests
Is there one for 190 & 192 quests?

ladydeb379604, please, that was your fourth consecutive post, DO NOT do it again or you will get banned, you can edit your older posts or add things to them instead of double or triple posting.

And in which quest are you using the cheats?

I use them in all of them
I Download zc 190 along with zconsole for version 190
and they won't play on my laptop. I have windows xp and even
tried to run the game in dos, but still have problems

The only one that will work is zelda classic 2.10 and most of those
quests I don't play.... a lot of the good ones are for versions 190
or lower

Oh, I thought I was the only one with that problem, running ZC in DOS inmediately crashed my computer and then it inmediately restarted. 😞

I'm still a little bit confused as to how to send replys
so I tried it this way
If I did it wrong, please forgive me..........
OK...........
I think I understand..............
I'm new to this bulletin board forum thing so I
guess I had to learn the hard way !!! heheheheh

I should be all set now if all the trainers work

BTW, I wasn't aware that there was a 2.11
version out for public use
Is it available for download???
Thanks !!!
A Zelda Junkie.............
ladydeb379604

I know, I downloaded all 3 and even put them in seperate folders
They all still don't work I used ZConsole 192 for quests that were made for version 192 and they either crash or won't bring up the
directory quest

Dear ladydeb379604:
I'm not saying this to be rude, but as a polite request from everyone. Please please don't post 3 and 4 times in a row. If you are unsatisfied with your post, you can edit it. If it is the first post in a thread, click on "Go Advanced" in edit mode, then you can change the title to rename the thread. But PLEASE dont quadruple post.

heres an example: zconsole for zc 1.92b183 only works for zelda classic version 1.92b183... the version the quest was made for is completely irrelvant.
