I'm making my own quest, not very far yet but I thought I'd put the alpha version up just if anyone's interested. Note: I said ALPHA. Many things are not done yet but some of the town and level 1 is done. (No music yet). It's for version 2.10.

Played your quest today. Pretty good start but I think I found a bug in the 1st level. There's a treasure box on the right side near the top of the map that I can walk right thru it. Can't open it but I figure it holds the candle needed to get not only the boss key but also to get to the boss door. Also your map of the dungeon is too dark so maybe I'm missing some rooms and the candle is in one of them.
Hope you finish it as I'm sure people will enjoy playing it.

I've gotten as far as the alpha goes and think it's quite decent, somebugs though that are very annoying.
A goog first try but there are quite a few problems. The doors for your houses need to be set to an overhead combo there is a screen in your dungeon with a treasure chest somewhere on layers 3- 6. This is all I can remember at this point but I hope it was a help. BTW nice overworld.

That treasure chest is a bug and I'm going to fix it. It's only 20 rupees in it though. The candle is down some stairs, there are no dark rooms. I'm planning to make a level map and so that's coming.
zelda_warrior, yes there are annoying bugs but if you could be a bit more precise that would helpful to fixing them. Thanks for playing the alpha, though. I have every intention of finishing this quest.
Actually to fix teh dorrs also u se a dungeon dmap type and a level number, AND overhead door combos.
ok, level 2 is done. Fixed the house doors, it's because I have freeform dungeons on I think (you'll see why in lvl 2 ... who said levels had to be indoors?)

Aha the pics look pretty good, is the second pic by the outside dungeon?
yes, it is. Though it's more of a mountain than a dungeon. It's already in the newest version of my quest that I uploaded yesterday(see link above), you go east from the town then north into the cold, snowy mountains. It probably won't be the only outside level, though.

5.10.2005 - Level 3 is now done and you can get the boomerang, letter, super bomb and magic shield, along with potions in places around the map.

Played it, its quite good. A few bugs, but nothing that couldnt be sorted out.
