Anyone know how to access 9th dungeon or the red castle in the underground,I have all items,and all hearts but 1.

Aha...... I have actually been replaying this quest now (it's one of my favorites) but I'm only up to level 6 currently. Still, I think I remember the answer. You have to go to the screen to the right of the lower-left-hand corner, and walk through the rock on the west side to get to the corner. Then there will be a cave entrance which will take you to the red "castle" in the Chaos Caverns (level 9).

That did not work. I cant get through the cave. It is a maze that repeats its self
