Imagine: A warm sunny day, windows rolled down, driving through the country to who knows where. What do you hear blaring on the radio?
I have a few driving songs I like. The all out best is "So Help Me God" by dc Talk. I don't know why, but nothing sounds better at 50 MPH down an old country highway. Queen's "Stone Cold Crazy" and the OakRidge Boys' "Leaving Louisiana in the Broad Daylight" are also great.
So what are your favourite driving songs?
Driving songs
Goin' Up the Country by Canned Heat rocks.
As does most stuff by The Strokes, but mostly I listen to The Apples in Stereo while I drive.
Bad Habit by Offspring. Or whatever you want.
Actually I think Hit That sounds good in the car.
Often I listen to any kind of music..Mostley 80 hardrock.. like Queen and Metallica.. But even Alice Cooper and Linkin Park..
BUT my favorite is defenaltly Radio Ga Ga with Queen..
Chemical Brothers - Come with us.
The whole album is perfect for city highway night driving.
Final Fantasy: The Black Mages.
Yes, I'm a tremendous dork.
CDS
ICP - Ringmaster, Riddlebox or the Wraith
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the moon or Momentary lapse of reason
Juvenile - G-Code
I usually just listen to these the most
Road Kill by The Dickies
Bad Habit by The Offspring
A bunch of Initial D songs.....
I dunno....I can't remeber any others, I had a bunch.
Well, I guess the whole Splinter album is good for the car.
chasin down a dream-tom petty
Any System of a down song Chop Suey! especially
The Strokes, all their songs too
Radiohead is strange but when you have it very loud it kinda gives you a creepy feeling of joy
Finally the whole three days grace cd!
i'd play one of 3 songs
This Machine
Setting of the Sun
The Dark Messanger
As long as the words are in Japanese, I'm probably okay with it. :kawaii:

Gold Cartridge (Zelda 1 Remix)
Sigmatism (MegaMan X Remix)
Green Forest (Sonic Adventure 2)
Frog's Theme (Chrono Trigger)
World Revolution (Chrono Trigger)
death metal, hardrock stuff like that in spanish always sounds good on the road.
Extol ~ "Undeceived" (the whole album)
Extol ~ "Burial" (only the songs in norweigan(sp?) something intrigues me about songs in foreign languages when I have nothing to to but sit and listen)
Sublime(any of their fast paced songs)
Pumpkins~ "Gish"
Red Hot Chili Peppers (close to anything)
as long as it's fast hard or funky it's good to drive with.
I don't drive cause im not old enough yet, but it would probably have to be SUM 41
anything by Hoobastank, Godsmack, Linkin Park, Deftones, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Limp Bizkit, Chili Peppers, Staind, Adema, Audioslave, Korn, Fuel, Seether, and Zeromancer...
thats not naming them all 😉 (i love my mp3 cd's...)
DJ Sammy - Heaven
Electric Universe - Orange Night
or anything by DuMonde.
Rock songs are usually better for non-country road driving though 😮
