Apple in Japan

this proves but one thing... together, the people standing there have less lives than we do!

I thought Japanese people were really smart, who in their right mind would get in that line? That's just insane, especially one for a Mac store.

The Japanese are just really patient...maybe?

It's a phenomenon that is seen frequently in Japan, I believe. No doubt you've heard of the long lines that form outside of game stores on the day of new console or game releases.

That is Japan's first Apple Store... And I'm getting a Mac... :-P We will continue this debate over AIM... soon...

I was about half-way through the video and ready to leave the line. I can not imagine any computer store being worth waiting that long on queue for. Unless maybe they were giving away free iBooks with entry or some such. I think the Russians may still have them beat on line length, though.

Does the store even have enough merchandise to sell to all those people? It would suck to spend all day waiting in a multi-thousand person line only to find out that whatever you wanted to buy was sold out.

I was tempted to watch it for a white person, take a screen shot, circle his picture, post it, and say "Look! I found inori!" I didn't see one, although I wasn't paying that much attention.
