Looks interesting, if developers take to it and it is cheap then it would be awesome, but it will be quite a bit of money. Would cost quite a bit of money to build a P4 3GHz, 256DDR, nVidia graphics. Quite funny if for some reason they used the GeForce MX or that shitty FX thats out, 5200 or whatever.
Kinda old news... but yeah. Looks pretty kick ass and I'm an advocate of it, though few people here are.
I don't see it being too cheap though. A 100+GB HD alone is more $ than a PS2 right now.
Regardless, I've reserved mine and signed up for beta testing months ago. Beta test launch is scheduled for October.

Although it was announced a long time ago, they just released the specs for it yesterday. I don't think I will be buying it, because I would much rather put the money into my own computer.
Yeah, I saw 'em.
I like the idea of upgrading it better than buying a whole new console every 2 1/2 years.
I'm just so damn curious to see what their pricing scheme is.

If you know where to look, a 100+ HDD is much less than a PS2. If you don't mind having to do rebates, you can get them for less than 50 cents/gigabyte.
According to the interview its around $400.
