2. How do I use them?
thanx in advance, I need help.
.php files
PHP is a widely-used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML.
try going to the website for more details, or if anything, search google.com, as there are many many resources for info
But I downloaded a program in php format I am wondering how to use it
what program is it exactly? maybe i can help you out that way...
Usually, if you have a .php file and you want to view it properly, then you need to view it from a server with php on it.
I downloaded it from www.thesims.com it is the hot date patch, it is supposed to be a setup to fix all of the errors in the game, and all of the other programs like make-a-date and everything are in .php too.
And after I have downloaded it it says that this is and invalid file extension.
A php application is what this very forum is scripted in. Is there an .exe file in the file (assuming it is some type of compressed file...)
