...it's GRAND SALAMI TIME!

Yup, with the Mariners about to lose again, in the top of the ninth with two outs and the bases loaded, ICHIRO SUZUKI knocks it into the right field stands for his first Major League grand slam. 😊

Well its about time for your team to stop losing

Starkist 20 Jul 2003, 01:17

Eh, they're losing 5-1 tonight... I hope this isn't a repeat of last year.

Jigglysaint 20 Jul 2003, 01:17

Hehe, you just said "salami"!(voice from far away) "Shut up Bevis!"

Salami sounds good right now...oh I need food.

Not a huge baseball fan myself, but...Go Cards! I don't know what the record is even. 😊

They are 50 - 47

My team won!! WOOT.. The O's they are 44 - 50, not too bad. They were supposed to do worse.

yay... go mariners.. I guess... lol

Go Mariners... as soon as they finish their series with KC. Being from Kansas, I'd like nothing better than to see the Royals, of all teams, win their division, especially considering their previous futility. Two of three from the Mariners will help... three of four would help even more. 😉

Did they win tonight? I heard that they went into extra innings and thats it. Hopefully for Starkist's sake they did.

Nah... Beltran hit a homer that Cameron barely missed over the wall in the tenth. Thankfully, Oakland has sucked too since the break, and the M's are still in first. 😊
