I am surfing in style with my laptop!!

Me too, I got a laptop with those specs this weekend.

I went to the mall with my dad and brother so my brother could get the new Harry Potter book. My dad said we should check out Best Buy because I was looking for a new computer for college. I figured I would just see what was there, but the guy was such a good salesperson that he got me to buy it. I don't have it hooked up to our network because I need a new cable to plug it in to the router.

Nice. How much did it put you back?

It was around 1,400 but with the service plans and other extras it went up to 2,000!

Service plans are generally overpriced, considering the bathtub curve of typical electronic gadget failure rates. Either it will break right away, when it's under warranty, or it will last longer than it remains useful.

ya well, my CPU itself is bigger than your crummy laptop so blah! :P

WOW oh WOW!
Your brother got the new HP book "Order of the Phoenix"?
That is so cool!!!
My wife picked up mine whyle I was away at convention.
As soon as I finish the book I'm on I will start that.

Oh and ah... congrats on the purchase of your new PC too, nice. 😊
