Hi all. I'm going to be leaving tomorrow for boot camp, so more than likely I won't be very active on the forums for the next six weeks, plus the time it takes me to get through tech school. I'll expect a big cake when I get back.

Air Force. I'll be spending the next six weeks in Laughland AFB in beautiful San Antonio, TX.

Well good luck, I hope you like running 'cus you will be in for some in Boot Camp. That and pushups. Everything you ever saw in the movies where the chife says "drop and give me 20" is true.
Even the smallest of infractions are rewarded with pushups.
I know this. I spent nine years in a military acadamy, so I'm fairly certain I can hack it.

Well, good luck... I have a friend who's leaving for boot camp, marines... I know I won't see him at all for the summer... Oh well, military kicks ass...

Have fun... I think it would be nice if i went to some military camp.. Might straighten me out a bit.. 😛 But then again.. Australian Army is nowhere near the US standards.. :shrug:

Isn't the Air Force actually called Basic Training instead of Boot Camp? I always thought boot camp was for the Marines and Navy....
