Since Zagg's version of this sounds like I'm listening through a coffee can, I've taken it upon myself to remake this set by ripping all of the files myself.
Some are tricky, as my computer really sucks and the sounds seem to skip from time to time.
So, here's what I'm asking for. If you have some free time and are willing to learn how to rip sounds from a rom, please assist me in grabbing some of these sounds.
Thus far, I have 21 wavs. Here's a ridiculously long list of the ones that I still need.

As for Hammer & Hookshot, I'll probably just use LTTP's sounds here, as I'm pretty sure these didn't exist in BS.

I can help a little... The hookshot and hammer were not in BS Zelda. Also should you need hosting I'm sure we have room.
Just a quick question: Is there any difference between BS Zelda SFX and Zelda's? I played the BS Zelda rom, but it was pretty crappy and it did'nt have any SFX or music.
Yes.. There are alot of differences.
Go to the BS Zelda page and download the player's choice rom. It has sounds, music, and a time hack that removes the 7 minute wait from the title screen.

Just note... I record at 16bit stereo, 44,100 HZ. This makes the files big, but they sound really good.
Sorry to have confuesed you... By help I meant with info and hosting :shrug: The comp I use is currently (and for the next several months) without a Sound Card because it's an external setup that runs through a shit load of studio equipment... The equipment is of coure 2,500 miles away. Vel may be of some help on this though.

I just finished ripping the following sounds.
Dodongo, Roar, Scale, fire, Door, EHit, Wand, Bomb, and scale. Thus, I updated the list.
Edit - 2 More ripped.. Gasp & cleared.
have you ever tried winmx.com for zelda songs they have some like about 700 songs about zelda
That would probably only get mp3 music files, as it is a file sharing program. Thar's what they usually have. ZC is not compatible with mp3 files, at least not yet. Teliyr is looking for bs zelda sound effects in .wav format.

Yes, but there is no need to rip the songs...they're basically the same as the original, which are coded in anyhow.
