Love it. However, try to be less dependant on other tiles, and more original. Completely drop the non-zelda 1 tiles and draw some from scratch. They cramp the style badly , my friend.

nah, if he's basing them off of Zelda 1 tiles, then let him do that Joe. The only thing, I feel, that doesn't quite fit in, is Link himself. May want to put more shading on him to fit in with the rest of the tiles.
Actually, I like it all fine. Just do everyone a favor and don't release a clone of the original Zelda to show off the sprites.

Heck yeah! :kawaii: It's nice to see some well-shaded tiles here and there, but this is amazing! I wish I could do something like *BH4 runs off to do something like this* J/K. No, I've got my own projects.
