I made these with MSPaint over the past fiew months... thanks to Gerudo for converting them to .gif without (noticably) distorting the pallete for me.
Jack O'Neill - http://www.angelfire.com/folk/tubularity/Jack.gif ; Made around September- October, touched up repeatedly aftewards. I based this on Richard Dean Anderson rather than Kurt Russell. I messed around with the hair quite a bit... I swear that if I'd ever seen MacGyver beforehand, then it had been several years, and I didn't have it in mind.
Jack O'Neill (Gray hair) - http://www.angelfire.com/folk/tubularity/Jack_gray_.gif ; essentially the above with recolored hair.
Daniel Jackson - http://www.angelfire.com/folk/tubularity/Daniel.gif ; Made around August-September, repeatedly and majorly touched up since. I based this more on James Spader than Michael Shanks. Needless to say I messed with the hair juuuuust a bit.... to quote balzac, "it looks like a haystack exploded on top of his head".
Samantha Carter - http://www.angelfire.com/folk/tubularity/Sam.gif ; Made in November-December, touched up occasionally since. I keep arguing with myself over rather that one leg looks longer or just closer...
Teal'c - http://www.angelfire.com/folk/tubularity/Tealc.gif ; Made in December. I'm kind of amazed how quickly this one went and how well it started out... it was like once I got started everything went well the first time I tried to do it, I almost never redrew or had to edit much of anything. I based his hair on the hair he had in the alternate reality in "There But For The Grace of God". Yes, I know his staff weapon is horribly inaccurate, I'd never really seen one very well yet at the time.
Anyway...
