New Animal Crossing Textures

Nice. I saw the others on your animal crossing page. You should link it here or something so it can be found easily.

The only custom thing I've done is make a black background with a Triforce in the middle. So my character has a black shirt with a Triforce on the middle, sleeves, and his hat heh. I also put it on the door of my house. I should look into those programs that let you work on textures on the computer.

And some of those programs kind of suck. The only one I've seen has it's palettes WAAAAAY off, so I just made my own 😃

The second one's color looked ok too, and the hair color reminded me of Zelda 3/4.

ooh that looks better, but I think his eyebrow misses a little bit of the determined look. cleaner though and the eyes are better.

The palette is much more accurate than the one generated by that program. Most of those palettes tend to be quite off 😃

Heheh, itd be neat to spoof Animal Crossing using these somehow (hidden game joke). I did those using the scans I have from a EGM article, the boxes were all very small so they were a good size for this. You can find jpegs at the ZHQ forums.

How many textures can you store? 8 at once, and you can store others in a deposit or somethign right?

Dinobeemon. I feel that I was able to capture him very accurately.

Yasyamon, my favorite Armor Digimon. He was captured not as accurately as Dinobeemon, but still...

Nozomi from Tokimeki Memorial. Change the 10s to 8s and it will look perfect.

Oh man, I actually did try to make that one, but yours turned out much better I think.. I'll just attach mine cuz I don't feel like uploading 😃

Burgermon. He came out quite well.

Shiori from Tokimeki Memorial. She didn't come out as well as some of the other textures I've done have. Oh well...

And one more for the road...

Ayako, another Tokimemo character. Too bad she didn't come out well. I'll have to do another one for her, but I'll keep this one until then.

Mak-X you are my hero. (I can't beleive you still have those pics you helped me make after all this time) But is that the best palette you could get?

I'm going to do some sprite ripping for my next textures.

Alex, go to Warlock's Animal Crossing page http://www.war3.com/warlock/actrading , there's a link to a program that takes images and makes them textures like you see above. The images have to be 32x32, or rather, the program will take any image and make it 32x32 when you open it in the texture program. You have to take stuff like artwork and crop it in a paint program, then you can test it by shrinking it to 32x32 to see how it will look resized that low. Then run it through the texture program. I don't have any Ayeka spirtes (if you were asking me), though maybe Warlock can do something? I'm just using the program to make textures, following Warlock after he started making these. When using artwork, get the smallest scanned image you can find before resizing. Avatars are a good source, at least for the ones I did, I scanned them to avatar size from the paper.

(All of the textures posted on this page look great btw)

Skin is a little darker because of the palette.

I guess I meant that I know Warlock is into Tenchi as well so maybe he had something. :mega:
