This probably a really stupid question to ask, but how do you make your own character and add it into the game?

Check the previous thread I responded to. You know which one.
just make your charachter over the existing link tiles. but be sure you put them in the same places, like when link faces down, put your charachter down, ect... or else it'll look really wierd
