Dsl Modem!!!!

i'm on 48K right now...I have a cable modem at my mom's house, but I'm not much of an internet guy, so dial up isn't much of a problem for me. Congrats on the DSL though.

Congratulations Starkist. Someday I hope I can experience DSL. :b

Oh well, sounds great.

My morning could hardly be perfect. First I get DSL, then I have Star Wars Episode II cereal for breakfast!! 😃

Congrats for DSL. It must be great to finally enter the Technological age.. Stone age is sure slow.

Also , wtf.. they made Star wars cereals!?

Congrats. 28.8 sucks. DSL tons better. 😉

Wonderful! Now you can waste time even faster! 😉

Wow. That's a jump.. I didn't even know 28.8 connections exsisted nowadays. Congrats. 😊

Believe me, 28.8 is blazingly fast. You have no idea just how good it feels to be back on my 56K modem (connected at 50666 bps) after having spent the summer in Belarus and the Ukraine, where you consider yourself lucky if your computer in an internet cafe is going at a speed of 10kbps. I'm sure at times I had a connection more like 5 or 2 kbps...it took something like 2-3 minutes to download the small jpeg pictures that my mom sent out in her emails.

Congrats on the DSL!
