What about games you all play? What looks good in today's market? — Video Game Discussion

What games look good currently?

I think Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion look really good.

Mak-X 03 Aug 2002, 18:56

I'm looking forward to Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion (beat Super Metroid again last night), Starfox Adventures, and Legend of Zelda GCN. Metal Gear Solid 2 looks good. I'm interested in playing Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 and 2 with that GCN controller/keyboard hybrid. The new Contra game with its 2-D gameplay looks good from what I saw in Extended Play.

MGS2 is a great game, I have it, but I always play without the blood

me2 03 Aug 2002, 19:02

SSB:M, Zelda GC, Metroid fusion and metroid prime, Star Fox adventures, MGS2, GTA3, Um...

SquallLionheart 03 Aug 2002, 19:05

Those are all good games too, but can you turn off the blood in GTAIII, I've never played the game.

Beldaran 03 Aug 2002, 19:51

No you can't turn off the blood. Why would anyone want to do that?😃

I've sort of lost my zing for games lately and since I already have GTA3, there isn't anything coming that I'm dying to play. I should point out, however, that I don't have a console, in which case there are some cool games I would want. I'd like to play that Spiderman game on the xbox, as well as Halo...never played that one either.

SquallLionheart 03 Aug 2002, 20:16

oh so I won't play GTA III

EWild 03 Aug 2002, 20:39

What wrong with blood? Metroid Prime, PSO 1&2, Rockman Zero, Star Fox Adventures, Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Fusion, Zelda GC, F-Zero GC, MGS 2, GTA3, Project Ego, XIII, Tactics Ogre: TKoL,Evolution Worlds, Halo 2. BTW what's up with the new controller/keyboard hybrid thing?

KINGOFALLME2 03 Aug 2002, 21:16

If your a kirby fan. There will be a kirby game coming out for GBA soon. oohhh YEAH!

Metriod fusion
Metriod prime

THEY WILL BE MINE!!

MottZilla 03 Aug 2002, 21:34

I don't play so many current games. The greatest games have already been sold and passed up by people.

It's for Phantasy Star Online (and any other online game I guess). Keyboard and controller in one, instead of using a joystick and reaching for the keyboard everytime you want to type a message is how I see it.

SquallLionheart 04 Aug 2002, 01:13

that's pretty cool, and there's nothing wrong with a little bit of blood, but my friend said there's buckets. I can play MGS2 blood but not RE blood. That's all.

EWild 04 Aug 2002, 01:18

I knew they were coming out with one but I thought it was a keyboard but a controller/keyboard sound interesting. Thanks I'll search it up.

SquallLionheart 04 Aug 2002, 01:21

the controller keyboard thing could also be something for both the typist and the gamer, you know, like a thing where you can use the keyboard to play games (PC ports like Half-Life and Unreal Tournament) or you could use them both (like the joystick for the mouse look option in lotsa FPS'😉

Here's some info:http://www.zdnet.com.au/gamespot/nintendo64/previews/story/0,2000012700,20265601,00.htm Look at the screnie. It looks like a GC controller+a keyboard. Sweet.

SquallLionheart 04 Aug 2002, 01:32

Ohhhhhh for GC!!

NM about PC ports then, it's gotta be Sega's online stuff.

BACK TO THE TOPIC!!!

I'm looking forward to games starring Boco. Boco: *wark wark waaaaark*

EWild 04 Aug 2002, 01:46
