I'm wondering if anyone wants to try out a BS-style first original quest remake. I took the example and now I'm adding lots of stuff. It was originaly for 1.90, but now I'm doing it for the newest beta, 163. If you want, I can put it on my website (which is basically non-existant since I haven't worked on it for practically forever) I'll make a poll so if you try it you can vote what you think.
A new first quest edit/remake whatever it is
try getting the '1st quest revamp' in the misc. completed quests section of the questdb by me. There's a true revamping of the first quest. 🙄

I'll do it now - it should be done in like ten minutes or so. (Remember, it's far from finished, so far I have to level 5, although I messed up level 4 a bit. Use the walk throug walls cheat to get past the beginning - the cheat is "4"😉

Uh, it's been a day and no one's responded. I wonder if this is a lost cause...
anyway, here's how I've improved it so far (not uploaded):
- Changed damage tiles so they look like spikes
- Got rid of the block in Hero's cave that blocks the passageway
- Tried to fix the color of the zols and gels
- Changed it so that the blocked off passage is at the beginning of the 5th dungeon, not 4th
- In the 5th dungeon the secret passage is free form rafting
- Fixed music in 2nd dungeon
That's about it for now.

Hmmm.... this is interesting, you are a giant X and you go through a giant X level and face off against your arch-rival......... the GIANT X!!!! Yeah well they don't show up either for me so fix the links please :sweat:.

I havn't worked on it for a few days. In the poll I've got 3 for the worst rating (although 2 were there before I even uploaded the quest so...) and nothing else. :shrug:
I think it looks quite nice, there should be a few more screen shots though. three isnt realy enough to tell if its good or bad

Eric, did you try to right click and save target as?
It works fine for me.
I also changed the end with Ganon. In the original you go through the dungeon and then straight to Ganon after you defeat the patra. I changed it so that it looks cooler - you don't get to Ganon right away - well, you'd have to see it. Maybe I'll upload the newest version tomorrow - the one with some stuff fixed and that new Ganon thing. There's still some parts that don't work, like the rafting thing in level 5 (if I can't get it to work, I'll try something else. Oh well, that's about it. I hope I get some more votes and suggestions.
