Can you make treasure chests give you items.

I would like to know how to put a treasure chast on a screen and open it with a weapon and get a selected treasure. Is that possible?:mega:

Yes, you need 2 combos: one closed treasure chest slash combo all unwalkable and one open treasure chest walkable on the bottom half. Place the closed treasure chest on the screen with an armos-->item flag. Make the room type special item and select the item. Make the undercombo the open treasure chest.

Theres a closed treasure chest->slash combo? Is that only in the new beta?

No, you just make the tile a closed chest, and the combo is regular Slash.

So you can use the armos-> item flag to make an item appear even when there isn't an armos? Cool!

Only if it's triggered by something, like a slash or armos.

Treasure chest works because (and I think this is right, not positive) armos->item and armos->secret work with ANY combo type that produces an under combo. So I could make stairs appear out of a pound combo, or an item. I could put an item under a block, and you have to push it to get it.

Don't let the "armos" part of those flags fool you. (Not certain about all of this, sorry)
