Yes. The l and r statues shoot the fireball from the side mentioned in the combo list. The c statue fires from the centre of the statue.

The different statues shoot the firball form different parts of the tile as well, which you may want to keep in mind when making statue tiles.

Actually I think the l statue shoots the fireball from the right side, on the top or bottom, I forget. The r statue shoots from the left side. The thing is that it's the statue on the left, which shoots things towards the right... I think.

Statue --> Shoots from side
L --> R
R --> L
C --> C

They're called those names because that's which side you're supposed to put them on.

The L and R statues are for the classic style statues. The L statues go on the left side of the screen, and consequentially, they shoot from their right side. The C statues are for the LttP style statues because they look the same wherever they are on the screen and shoot from their middles.
