even tho dogs cant understand you, they associate the sound of your voice with the commands.

My dad used to have a dog that would literally shit on command.
My dog if we say popcorn runs to the microwave then barks for us to make it!
We have a cat named Shithead. I guess it's because she's really dumb, and my mom called another cat a shithead, and the one we named that afterwards ran up to us and purred.
