1.92 or 2.00?

From what I can see in the beta reports topic I think that the first official non-beta release should be 2.00 and not 1.92 anymore. I mean it has a Windows version and a shit load of new stuff.

Then I say let's fix the current bugs we have in the latest ZC beta build (looks like 141 at the moment), take care of a few extra bits of code, and send it out already!

Hmm... I've always thought the two main features people were hoping for in 2.0 were an enemy editor and 16-bit color...and the Windows edition won't be doing either of those...the .2 increase does seem very small though. I'm very ambivalent* about it.

*Get a dictionary if you think this word means indifferent--it means the exact opposite.

I do agree that it should be 2.0, also. I heard that big, important releases usually have the no-decimal numbers, or at least if they do, it's a .0 (2.0, 98, etc).

Who really gives a fuck what it is called as long as we get it soon, Which is unlikely.🙄

I'll choose the hidden option 1.95.

I think 2.0 should be released when all the customizable stuff enters the program. When one or two of the following suggestions (custom enemies, custom titlescreen, custom items, custom subscreen, etc.) gets added, the version can become 2.0.

Who CARES what version it is!?!? All I care about is the day it gets released! Which, using my internal release clock, should happen in approximately 97 3/4 years.

1.5, for the same reasons as sludge.

That's quite far back, Savior.

I think it should be 2.0, because there's too much stuff already added and DN might add more (hopefully not, this is enough). The custom stuff should be released in a Zelda Classic 3.0 or something like that.

I agree completely, however I voted for 1.92 because I don't want it to be called 2.0.

As for why we're discussing this because it doesn't really matter: It gives us something to do.
