    The E3 Game

The rules are simple. You pretend you are somebody at E3 announcing a new game/device. It can be anything (ie: new dishwasher video game) and it can be as outrageous or tame as you want it to be. The next poster after you first replies on what happens to it. (ie: the new dishwasher game becomes a bestseller, breaking every record in video games ever! or its the worst game ever or whatever, you get the idea) before starting the whole thing over with their E3 announcement.

    And to start:

Coming from Nintendo! Fire Emblem x Mega Man! Control iconic characters from both series as you take on foes in this year's newest hit title! Only on the Nintendo 3DS and WiiU!

There was a snafu during development and the game's platforms were accidentally switched. As such, the 3DS software got printed to the Wii-U disk and the Wii-U software got printed to the 3DS chip. Neither system could run the game, and the unbridled code bricked both systems! Nintendo was forced to pay a class-action settlement totaling two-hundred fourteen million dollars.

    My turn:

Sega announced at E3 this year that they are stepping back into the gaming market! Their new system--code-named "Palantir"--boasts a completely touch-based interface. Players control the characters by manipulating the magnetic field of the Palantir's 'electro-orb' with their fingers. The system expects rousing initial sales and a long life span at market.

Just in case people are browsing the internet in search of buzz, and in case you did not read the start of this discussion, THIS IS ALL JUST A GAME!

After only a few months of use of Sega's new device interface, multiple reports of people becoming completely catatonic after using the device are reported as their electromagnetic fields are/were becoming more and more used to the interface device itself, and their bodies natural reaction to this caused their electrostatic magnetic fields to gravitate towards their beloved devices even as they slept.
Did I hear someone say Captain S?
    No I didn't.

N.A.S.A. Space Exploration Rover Module Simulator. Being released by a brand new company with no prior contracts with any gaming companies, the S.E.R.M.S. program is in development for release on every new next-generation system.

Leaked screenshots and video of gameplay cause those who view it to become, at first, overly excited for the game, but the hype quickly dies down and the game is forgotten. By everybody. Including the developers. It is announced by Morgan Freeman (hired to do game related announcements) that the game is cancelled in the way only Morgan Freeman can.

The crew at new company Zataka, Inc (new owners of the hidden series Bar-Buddies) create a series of games set in the Bar-Buddies universe. Play as all your favorite characters such at Lefty, the perverted ninja hand, Zombie the gun wielding mecha lunatic, and the for the first time ever in a video game, the axe wielding, demonic Bartender himself! Coming to a system near you!

Unfortunately, due to a mistake with some paperwork, concerns over licensing tear the game asunder. It switches producers six times before settling into limbo as highly anticipated but impossible vaporware.

Sony has promised that their next system will include a three-dimensional printer, which will construct actual trophies when the player completes an in-game objective. This feature is included in response to the stereotypical claim that gamers never have anything to put in their trophy cases.

The anticipated system had a minor flaw, in that the system would only send the data to the 3-D printer when exiting the game. Therefore the printer would not receive game-specific data so every trophy looks exactly the same as every other trophy.

Nintendo has just annouced their newest console, the 3D64Cube-U. This system is compatible with DS, 3DS, N64, GameCube, Wii, and Wii-U software, and will also play DVDs and Blu-Rays. You can also buy hardware accessories that will allow you play NES, SNES, GB and GBA games on it as well.
