    I didn't think anyone would take it seriously. I don't think it was feasible unless the engine was rewritten into an object oriented format. I just want to forget about it. Next time even if I think it wasn't going to work I'll just leave it as is.

    Whoever told you that probably didn't know what they were talking about. Either way it doesn't mean you should delete everything, pull the blanket over your eyes, and pretend your invisible. Discussions of things that aren't exactly feasible have often led to new ideas being implemented.
