    New BS tiles

I thought I'd start a topic to show people some new tiles I am working on for the BS Zelda tileset. I will update the pics occasionaly too.

Here are some corner tiles for the dungeons, and some moss that goes on the tops. The moss could also be recolored to make sand.

I've also been adding more tiles to go with the "final level" tiles to make it more useable. I've added regular sized doors, made walls that don't have Ganon on them and recolored some other tiles to fit this level's pallette.

Here are some trees that I made, originally I was going to use the trees from the Game Boy game, but I decided to make my own that would fit in better with the BS ones.

Woo hoo, look at the tektites dance!

Very nice, Vel! When will the set be finished? Will it be packaged with the next release?
No trees were killed in the sending of this message.
However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

There's something wrong about the trees... if they had designed them there would be more shading and such.

Were these tiles actually used in the original BS Zelda, or just some you are whipping out? They look damn good and believable as real BS-Sprites if you did them yourself.

I'm not sure when it will be finished. I think it will be included in the next release. I will probably just keep adding things until ZC is ready for release.

I made the bush tiles bigger for the tree tiles. None of these tiles are "final". I usually change stuff around quite a bit then decide what I think looks best, so I'll probably work more on some of these. (actually some have been changed since I made these pics, I changed the corner tiles slightly.)

Some of them are from the original, but I've made new tiles to go with them.

In the first pic I made the inverted corner tiles, and the moss.

In the second pic I made the normal sized doors, the walls without Ganon on them and some other things.

In the third pic I made the big trees with leaves.

the walls without Ganon on them
Great, that was the main thing I didn't like about BS dungeons!
