Mission-ary, see what I did there? We need your help doing the Goddess Hylia's work!

AGN finally has a strong staff back in place again, but we could always use extra help from creative users such as yourselves to help generate activity and spread the word about this place and Zelda Classic. This thread will serve as a place to post "missions" that will help towards that cause. Completed missions will be rewarded with an image to place in your signature. Missions will have a deadline to begin with, but the deadline can be extended if necessary.

Regular members can suggest ideas for missions here, but only staff members can give the missions. ST and I are currently discussing options to serve as further rewards for amassing a certain amount of said sig images whether they be from Triforce Quest, "The Dare Game," or here. The post immediately following this one will serve as the Tally sheet.

Tally Sheet

1st Mission: Create an image of a Zelda fairy as a reward for these missions. As I don't know much about graphics, I don't know what a good size would be, but try to find a balance between losing detail and being too big. (Might be best to make them the same size as the TQ spinning Triforce, but I don't know.) It can be animated if you wish and the design is totally up to you. You can use any avenue you wish to create said fairy of course, whether it be photoshop or Zelda Classic. If you would like, you can create numerous versions to choose from. Or, you can even create a Queen of Fairies(The Wind Waker) to serve as an upgrade once you reach a certain number to prevent too many images from being in sigs. The current deadline for this mission is 9/24/12 at 12:00AM.
Reward: 1 fairy to anybody who completes the mission, 3 fairies to the images that are chosen to be used by popular vote for rewards.

2nd Mission: Suggest ideas for missions here. There is no deadline for this mission.
Reward: 1 Fairy to any ideas that are deemed good enough to be added to the recommendation post.

Mission Recommendations

-Create a short/medium-length dungeon/area of the overworld in ZC using a specific theme. - Pikaguy900
-Create a ZC quest of varying sizes. - Pikaguy900
-Create or Finish a Zelda Classic Script. - Pikaguy900
-Create a ZC tileset/graphic.
-Play this users quest. (Users who want to bring attention to their quest could offer a premium for the first person to accept the challenge and complete it, an eShop game maybe?)
-Make AGN Banner Images to advertise in signature at other sites.
-Post this many threads/posts.
-Invite this many friends.
-Go out and tell this site about Zelda Classic linking them back here. ("Missionary" work. Shouldn't be an ad since it's a game.)

If you have an idea for a mission that would help you personally, you can offer extra incentives...maybe paypal money, or again, an eShop game.

Example: X wants an emoticon to represent himself on AGN and elsewhere. X offers eShop gift for person that creates best icon. Everybody else that tries gets a fairy.

For the second mission, I have a few ideas for missions you may like:

-Create a short/medium-length dungeon/area of the overworld using a specific theme.
-Create a short quest using a specific tileset. (By short, I mean something that wouldn't take more than, say, an hour or so to complete, for example.)
-Obviously, create a full quest, though it would need to be a side mission instead of the main mission due to the length.
-Finish a script from small snippets of code.

(For example, a piece of a script that creates an object, offers no position for it, and makes this object explode into shrapnel, and nothing more; people could make this into a player weapon that fires remote-detonation bombs or a 5-way short-range time bomb attack, or an enemy attack that shoots out a bomb that explodes on contact with a solid block or the player, or, again, a time bomb. Or, perhaps the script only sets Link's speed to the value of variable "S". People could make this into a Metroid-style Speed Booster item, a Pegasus Seed item, or perhaps an enemy can slow down Link with its shots.)
