Strange Pod houses of Taiwan

Well I've been looking around today and I've found one of the weirdest and creepiest places I've ever seen.

Its called Sanzhi resort, the location of this place is Taiwan.

The pod type houses just look strange and creepy. and on top of that the rust makes it look something that should be in silent hill.
Its a shame that the Taiwan government tore it down in 2008.

I've would've loved to go there and look around.

Figured this would interest people.

ah yes, I've heard of those. There's also an amusement park in china that dwarfs Disneyworld in size (yes, all of it.) Unfortunately, they built it on top of farmland, and the farmers quickly convinced them it was a retarded idea... after construction finished.

The grounds have no form of security whatsoever, so anyone can walk in if they so please. I imagine by now it's some sort of gang headquarters (with the big chief sitting on the castle throne. Yes, it has a castle too, just like Disney. Possibly bigger.)

I can just imagine a local gang hanging there in the castle... Well kinda.

Anyways I've seen some images of the place, and all I have to say is damn it is huge. I would love to walk around there.
