I probably would have helped them too, and then gotten yelled at for being so risky. I'm always getting yelled at by my family and friends because I tend to pull over and ask if someone is okay if they're broken down/in a ditch/hit a deer, or whatever. Not that I know what it's like to be stranded on a highway with a flat tire, a spare tire, a jack and no lugnut loosener thingy, at 3:00 in the morning, high as a kite with no one wanting to stop.
