You can select this when creating a new quest. Either authentic or fixed NES.
The 1st and 2nd quest files are also able to be opened, looked at, and edited.
1st.qst in 2.53.0 and newer is unlocked, and starting in 2.53.1. the 'blank' quest has all of the Z1 maps and DMaps in it. You can create a new quest and build a mod of Z1 from the gate.
