That's a little rash. What is Nintendo more likely to see, cancerous Internet Feminism lies and propaganda or a modest twitter campaign that doesn't get attention unless it's being made the villain? When Zoe Quinn can still play the victim about any vague thing she likes a round up over 20,000 likes and shares, I think the answer is obvious. I mean the fact that she is still being referred to as a designer is pretty telling of media bias.

As much as I hated Iwata, his Successor (eh, no pun intended) has been WAY worse, and shows every sign possible of hating his customers. The ShuffleGate thing was just his worst offense on that front, but far from his only one.

Err... A PR department cares about one thing. Can you guess it? Right! PR! They could give a damn about facts or propaganda. They only care about what is generally accepted and what makes for a good image. GamerGate being a "hate campaign" is generally accept and speaking against it makes for a good image.

Yes and no, PR does care about a good image, this is true, but a good image is best achieved with persuasion, so any company worth its salt will hire propagandists for the job. There may be exceptions, sure, but in practice, PR is propaganda.

You are imagining the inner workings of a massive corporations to fit your narrative. Nintendo doesn't give a crap about Gamergate. In all likelihood it went something like this:

Nintendo PR Person: "Seems we are taking heat because someone said we referenced something called Gamergate."
Head PR Person: "WTF is Gamergate?!"
Nintendo PR Person: *googles Gamergate* "Apparently its a group that harasses women."
Head PR Person: "Alright, make a statement saying we dislike whatever it's called again."
