@Gleeok I just shared that with one of my friends who has been trashing the Xbox One for a few days now. Much appreciated. That being said, PS4 has announced they will allow used games and don't require the constant internet connection. It will be interesting to get a true side by side comparison once all the specs have been released.
People have started calling it the "XBone" (XB-one) now. Hope it sticks. :)
Looks like retail is going to be $500+ for the xbone. Factor in sales tax + cost of a game + (insert other things you need) another controller ($60), and that's a lot of clams.
I know that Sony filed patents for DRM crap a while back, but it looks like they just want the rights for it (so far), and aren't using it.
The specs for both look pretty much identical, except the PS4 has more memory bandwidth and shader throughput.
Also: WY DOES THE XBONE NEED ALWAYS CONNECT KINECT & CAMERA & MICROPHONE?!?! (To steal my dreams???)

Here is the what the Microsoft Xbox Executive Don Mattrick had to tell people what they could do if they don't have internet.
Doesn't that sound like a bullshit statement?.
Video is no longer available...
I will have to use my imagination contraption: "Ya see this here stick boy? You grab it really good like, then you shove in in yer ass like that, ya see?
...That was unnecessarily unimaginative. I hope I kept the receipt.

Anyways, here is another link to the same video.

I think they are going to have to. I am thinking their initial sales will just be the people who will buy it no matter what because it's an XBox, but once that out of the gate sales period is over, they may slow down bad to Wii U status unless they change their strategy here.
I'me sure they'll support it for awhile I give it 3 years tops, but after that I'm sure Microsoft will want their user's to move on to the new thing.
And also what that video proves is that Microsoft does not care about the people that don't have a good/no internet connection.
What a bad thing to say, especially in the midst of so many already negative reactions from the gaming community. It almost seems like he's saying "you don't have a connection good enough? We don't want your kind here!"
Microsoft knows they're pissing people off, but they don't care, because they also know they'll sell a lot of units. Unless they don't. Then we'll start seeing some real damage control.
