In Quest -> Init Data -> Misc: tick "Slash" to enable the slashing movement from the start
In Quest -> Graphics -> Sprites -> Link: tick "Diagonal Movement"
First off, I want to thank all you regulars for loading me down with NEWB comments like I would most likely get on other gaming boards.
Second off, I want to sincerely thank you guys for giving your input and offering your help.
Third, I want to say thank you for helping locate these settings, which was so simple, but if you have no idea where to start, it's easy to get lost so I think you for that.
Thank you for posting the quest links that aren't password protected too!
And now, I present you with this dilemma! AhHaHa!
Everything works great, but this slash animation seems to be acting up.
Does anyone recognize this?
Thanks guys, you've been great help.
It is either quest rule->BS style animation, or, Link Sprite->BS animation, I believe.
Other things like fast scrolling, cool wipes, etc, are pretty nifty as well.

Is there something different about the collision detection in the example 1st quest? I got the collision working perfectly in a new 2.5 quest, but I just got the original example 1st and applied the scripting to that to scroll the overworld and Link gets stuck on the walls if I press towards the wall and then opposite of it really quick. I tested that out on the new 2.5 and that doesn't happen at all.. So there's something about the example 1st itself that isn't the same?
