I've just noticed that a new version of LTTP Hack Parallel Worlds has come out with a new easier version called Parallel Worlds remodel.
Tried some of it and its nice to get passed the guard house pretty quick. So for that game has been edited to make it beatable at any skill level.
Check it out here: http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/956/
Nice. I'll have to try it out myself!

I just started Mario 74, that's what brought me to this site.
Are there any good challenging fan hacks for any of: Link to the Past, Super Metroid, or Donkey Kong Country 2?
LTTP was my favorite game growing up and I regret terribly that I used guides the first time (I was 9 and stupid!) So I'd really love to play that same game with a fresh set of challenging dungeons. And I think Super Metroid and DKC2 are two games that lend themselves perfectly to challenge hacks because they're games that contain a lot of weird things you can do to get to weird places, Super Metroid with its wall jumping and power jump and DKC2 with throwing your buddy around, Dixie gliding, and all the different animals.
Just DLed it. This game is the greatest thing ever.
I think my version is buggy though. My heart gauge never changes. I mean, whether I get a heart container or take damage, it always shows as 3 full hearts. I know I'm really taking damage because of the beeping. Anyone else experience this issue?
If anybody's interested, Crimson Echoes, the most massive Chrono Trigger hack ever, is not dead by any means. I won't give you the link because the rom's on the main site, but look up Flames of Eternity on Google.
Not only is the hack basically finished, and much-refined over the beta version we saw on Youtube, there's a modified version of ZSNES that comes with it, with mp3 music tracks. They're still adding new stuff to it, but you can play it from beginning to end as it is now.
Download Lands of Serenity today! You will be knocked comatose by its sheer awesomeness.
The Titan's Quest, best played in the bathroom as the excitement can be somewhat...overwhelming.
