    Unhappy [Tiles][Request]A Sun

So clearly this is copyrighted or whatever but if anyone would be so kind as to take a crack at designing a similar symbol (I cannot pixel art for shit), I would be incredibly grateful. BONUS for incorporating the moon in some fashion but just the sun will do. in 32x32 and 48x48, primarily the former, with 16x16 and 64x64 also sought but the top priority is 32x32! Please and thank you. I intend for this to be a design on a stone floor, FYI!

What colors do we have to work with? If this is for ZC/ZQ, what version and what tileset are you using? If I create something for you, I want to make sure it's compatible with what you are using.

Photoshop makes this delightfully easy to do. 4 colors, you could very simply throw a moon in the center.

For the 16x16 you're best off just making it yourself. Spiral stuff is a bit tricky though.

Coming soon to a ZC near you.

I'm using PTUX with DoR's CSet 3 imported somewhere. I'm using ZQuest RC2. I'd say 4 colors is fine. you can do more if you wish though!

    And Lemoncat, thank ye!

Are you saying I need to find DoR's CSet 3 (of the main overworld pallette) and make this with it???

Sorry; it's just that there are so many CSet 3's because each level pallette has a different one. Plus I'm not sure if there was a particular CSet you needed it in, or just compatible for overlay over any type of floor.

Hey, Majora! I haven't forgotten about this. Here's what I've got so far:

The first 2 sun sprites on the left are LemonCat's after I grabbed them. This is a composite image with the suns using CSet 8 and the moons using CSet 10. Click here if you want the tile page export; it's all in CSet 10.

After grabbing LemonCat's smaller sun, I realized it was 36x35 instead of 32x32. (Hey, I can understand - resizing is tricky!) With the help of MS Paint and a calculator, and some touching-up by myself, I made the one to the right of it in the above picture which is 32x32. Also, I made a single tile version of the sun as well. These are all intended to use PTUX's CSet 8.

Starting from the right, the first two moon sprites were made by cropping the image you linked and resizing them; for the furthest right, I filled in the transparent tiles with the cloud color, just to get ideas. The third moon sprite from the right is 75% the size of the previous. I made that right before adding a cloud shape to it for the moon sprite that's under the small sun sprite. I made them that way to create this:

(This is shown double-size so you can see details better. I used pallette 29 (Normal Blue) and the regular ground combo for the background.)
This is what I envisioned when I saw your request. I could probably do the same thing for any different size you need, but I wanted to know what you thought first.

So, what do you think? Should the moon be smaller in relation to the cloud?

well color me flummoxed, that is awesome! I was hoping for something more central. That is, the moon and sun overlapped/merged. But no this is good! I can definitely use this. Thank you very much! Where do you live I'm buying you a russian bride in gratitude.

    No problem! Aw shucks...
No thanks on the Russian bride, though; I'm good living here in the Se Sha A. (You'd have to know Russian to get what I mean.)

Anyway, would you like it resized? Right now it's 48x48 with the sun & moon together; if you want I can have the sun and moon together fit in 32x32, and even make a 64x64 one if you need it.

Derp derp. I'm pretty sure I just fumbled 16x16 and 32x32 in my head.
