Why is the tile selector so small!?
I wish it was bigger..
I think it's because it's more useful when you try to export the tiles by taking a screen shot. That way, the graphics fit in 16*16 tiles, etc.
he wants the window wider and taller, not the view enlarged. so you can view more tiles at once.

Keeping the same magnification on the tile selector, a taller window should be possible. But a wider one would cause tiles to move out of alignment.
True! I was not thinking about the grid being defined like a multiplication table. Well, it is true if the extra columns can't be initially empty when upgrading quests to retain the alignment.But a wider one would cause tiles to move out of alignment.
