A real bad music problem...

hi, im having trouble with music, it doesm't matter what quest i play(it could even be sombody elses quest) no music will play, even on just music players in other games wont play at all, music wont play under any situation, this makes it hard for me to find music to add to my zelda quests, somebody help? Can someone help me get this computer to play music again, so i can put music on my zelda quests?

If you're using XP, double click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the screen, and turn the "SW Synth" all the way up.

Ok, sorry for double post but i found out why, i went into the sound options in control panel and theres was this thing called Midi music playback, it wasn't on the corect one, thats why it wouldn't play. I found out why, yipee.
