Yeah, they are more or less placeholders until I make something else, or finally get around to doing layers. They do look a bit weird with the way the kinda join the sky.My only suggestion is to get rid of the blocks on the overlook and out in mountain tiles instead. Otherwise, it's classic at it's best
I have a few more screens from the game's "fire/ lava" dungeon. I didn't really plan to do motifs for each dungeon, but after redoing level three and making a "water dungeon", I figured I might as well do something graphical to make them interesting
Image 1: Outside the fire temple. It resides deep beneath these "hot spring" type things here.
Images 2, 3, and 4: Inside some of the newer, and more interesting rooms in the dungeon.
Image 5: Random shot form level one showing the nice contrast between light blue, and orange. I like it.
I didn't realize most of these shots showed crusted lava. It is new. Well, it's probably for the better since people are probably sick of seeing my super bright lava anyway
let me just say, Tobias, wonderful use of 1st! You know you have something good when two weeks later, someone comes along to say more good things.
Anyways, I said I had something to show for Zero Quest DX awhile back, so here goes.
Awhile back, I never would have even thought I'd actually finish this. Now, the end is actually in sight.
1st Quest as you know it is about to change forever...
Alot of people who use the classic set now a days do a really good job with it! Excellent work Tobias_Daboi!
And those screenies there Old-Skool look really awsome! I played the original Zero Quest, and had fun. This looks just awsome!

Some of these look really cool, maybe I'll post some of my own later.
SPECTACLE ROCK IS AN ENTRANCE TO DEATH.
These are some test screens show casing my new tile set. It is a very layer-intensive set, since they can produce such nice, varied results. I'm aware that the grass isn't great, but it stays. It's sure beats the green solid Pure grass, and I'm getting sick of seeing every other quest use that SD3 grass. This set is a mix of old and new. Most tiles are edits, but there are a few originals in the set. If you can't tell, this started out as Descendant Set. It is on of the best, and underused set out there. It was Pure before Pure... So.. Maybe these screens look familiar, but I'm not one to work on, and juggle multiple projects at once you know.
