My quests:
End of Time - First quest, uses classic graphics (Help/discussion thread)
Link to the Heavens - Second quest, uses Pure tileset (YouTube LP | Help/discussion thread)
End of Time DX - Remake of my first quest (YouTube LP | Help/discussion thread)
_L_ - Really not a fan of the original DoR, and although the design is good, the shot simply doesn't appeal to me. Sorry.
Blaman- Made of win.
Russ- Classic... not bad, but there's certainly more you can do, even with Classic. If you're going to use Classic, I think it needs some more Custom tiles.
/me votes for _L_
Hey _L_ is that the level I made? It looks like it is my design except the top of the screen is changed completely and there is water now. I swear it looks a lot like the screen. You know what, it has to be my screen lol, I just noticed a few things that I made in. lol. Wow, so I am taking it isn't really my level anymore huh, it looks like it is really different now. XD
Anyways, I voted for blaman. I think it is okay, but the design is a bit blocky but it is the best of the week.
No No, it is fine. I was given the plans of the dungeons (the design) and I pretty much stuck to it. And I made it in that design, but put my puzzles and also was testing FFCs for the first time. XD So Don't worry, you can change things in the dungeon, so I didn't think it was perfect in the first place. I didn't like the design of the dungeon... or let me reword that... it wasn't my design style. I was told to make the level like Revenge 2. I tried, but added a lot of puzzles to make it have Shoelace taste. And it wasn't a perfect mix I didn't think. So if you can polish it, that would be awesome.
L's is very impressive. It looks completely natural for a temple level, which is something that I was always trying to work on and didn't do a good job on it. But this temple is great, even has streams. It would be really impressive if the subscreen changes depending on the level, but even if it doesn't, it's a very impressive screen nonetheless. (8.5/10)
Blaman's might be a little blocky, but hey, it's a town screen. I agree with russadwan on that it's the best pure town screen ever (Whatever it is that Pure means). I'm a sucker for good looking cities and this one is really good looking. The subscreen also looks pretty nice. (9/10)
russadwan, I didn't like that you used that newest classic tileset, what with the gridlike map, two different kinds of keys, golden rupees, and brown replacing red on the subscreen. Especially the first and last parts, although the fused item boxen is a neat idea. Yet you still made a very good looking screen. (8/10) *Votes* Would like to see a bit more green on that screen next time but that would clash, wouldn't it
The Pure Tileset at PureZC.Blaman's might be a little blocky, but hey, it's a town screen. I agree with russadwan on that it's the best pure town screen ever (Whatever it is that Pure means). I'm a sucker for good looking cities and this one is really good looking. The subscreen also looks pretty nice. (9/10)
I also agree that it is an excellent town screen, and it won my vote. :)
For me, _L_'s screen was too much like his other SoTW entries, and wasn't that appealing compared to the other two. It's still a great screen though.
Russ: Pretty good Classic screen there. The only thing that bothered me, was that the grass looked to much like a bunch of blocks.
