What is the point of Magic Book? And how is it used?
The magic book will let the wand burst into flames once it hits a wall or an enemy. The wand flame is a seperate trigger than can be used to uncover secrets. Look at flag 74 - Fire 3 (Wand Fire) and the first page of the secret combos (Wand Fire) to use it.
I think the book cuts magic use down a little...I cant remember...
Not at all. The only way you can cut down on magic use is to use the room type Magic Upgrade which will cut the magic use by half. This is like the upgrade you can get in LttP.Originally Posted by Rulehy
The book is for the wand. Maybe a more specific example, if you want the player to light a torch that is out of the candle's reach, you can light it with the wand magic if the book has also been found. Once it hits it will ignite, lighting the torch.
I see thanks! :)
Thanks erm2006 I was making my quest and testing it and I made my Wand into a shotgun and sometimes I was testing and I just added the shotgun to my INV, shot it and it didn't flame on impact and sometimes when I added all weapons to my INV it burst in flames and I didn't know why. But now I know its the book's fault. So now I can make the book into 'new ammunition' for the shotgun. /gg (in a game I play called ragnarok /gg is an evil laughter emoticon)
Isn't that the game that has the /pizza command?
The one that orders a pizza for you?
??? Wtf are you talking about? :unhappy: Pizza? No the magic book is in Zelda.
The button is your friend, fopo. :] Use it when you have to post again, but have already posted as the last user in the thread.
...
Of course, considering that the last reply was two months old and the thread has been dealt with already, and the comment didn't add much to the thread, it was pretty much a wasted series of posts anyway. :p Try not to do that again. Thanks man.
