    Question I have a question.

I have a problem i can not fix. I am useing zquest ver 1.92 beta 182. I am also using the graphics from the 182test.qst to build my own quest.

my problem is when i use the bush tile and play the game when i hit the bush with the sword it acts like it was cut and sometimes leaves items but the bush tile is still there. i've tried everything i can think of please help.

did you check your undercombo and see if you have any flags on them?

I tried changing the undercombo. i also tried puting flags on it. nothing so far has worked. the flages worked for the tall grass just not the bush.

    Thanks for the ideas though.

try deleting the screen and then making it over again. I dunno if that would work as I'm also using the tileset that came with the 182test.qst (tileset is called newfirst) and I never had any problems.

I'm not sure about this one. I've only seen this if the under combo was set as the bush.

Maybe do what Snort said: Delete the screen and start it over.

Did you put the bush on screen 80 (or, I think, any of the 8* screens)? They don't seem to work right there, constantly regenerating right after they disappear...

    Re: I have a question.

what gave it away was you said the leaves were showing when slashed, I've done that before, put one on a layer, realised I did it, came back and put it on layer 0 and then forgot to take the one off the layer, so it hides the one being slashed under it.
