In ZQUEST why not let there be a quick key for taking snapshots. You can do it in the Player but why not in Zquest. It would be helpful for people making tutorials and such.

I think it has to do with the way the code handles windows. (An old post somewhere alluded to that.) By the way, I know youre new, but this forum is for suggestions related to the BETAS. That encompasses features in the betas, ONLY, and ways to finish them.
Ok cool, I kinda thought it was a way to complete a feature, "The snapshot feature" but thats just me... But yeah, anyway... from now on i will take that into consideration. :)
Um... On the main screen, Z takes a snapshot, I believe. Let me know if this is wrong.
Yes, Z still takes a snapshot in ZQ. All the menu commands that have hotkeys have the hotkeys beside them, except snapshot. There is no Z beside Take Snapshot, so I don't know how many people know about. Maybe you could put the Z on the menu, like all the other hotkeys.

Yeah, I just learned something new, thanks DN and Praethus... It just threw me off because the take snapshot in the player has the F12 by it... Sorry... lol
F12 also works in many places in ZQuest. In the Tile window, tile edit dialog, help dialog, possibly others.

Just as a joke, do you guys (the programmers) ever think about putting in wierd easter eggs or practical jokes within the program?

Oh, while we're on the subject of snapshots, I've never been able to take a snapshot of a MENU within ZQuest, like when actually DRAWING, or fashioning palattes.. Pressing Z or F12 doesn't work. I'll look into this some more, as to which versions this occurs.. or.. DOESN'T occur in.
