Can someone please help me? I have downloaded player 183 , when I try to play a custom quest I get the following message
( Error: Invalid quest file ) my pc crashed and I had the three quest i'm trying to open before it crashed so I know they are valid.
what am I missing? I have these files!

agsetup.exe
sfx.dat
upgrade.exe
zelda.dat
zelda.exe
zelda.save
zquest.exe
zpg.dat

what am I missing?

1st.qst, 2nd.qst, and 3rd.qst. I believe you do need them to run ZC.

I have those 3 quest do I need allegro? if so where can I find it , or anyone else what else do I need and where do I find it?

do the quests that came with it open?
1st qst, 2nd qst, 183 test quest, etc?

if so, try to open one in zquest exe and play a midi, then exit and try your other quest again with a new name.
