If RE2 was remade for GC the way RE1 was, would you get it?

I got the remake of RE1, but I never had the original to compare it to. I was particularly interested in the remake of RE2, since that's the only one I have on PSX, and I wanted to see just how much it was changed. It was quite a disappointment to learn they weren't updating it at all.

You really have to think logically for this... It took roughly 2 years for Capcom to remake RE1's graphics... If they were to do this with RE2 and RE3, RE4 wouldn't be here until about 2006 or 2007. I really don't mind the graphics, just as long as the game still scares the shit out of me... Oh, and in case none of you noticed, they DID take out plenty of blocky enviroments and sharpened the poly's, so at least they changed some of the annoying parts... I enjoyed RE from the beginning, so I'm not dissapointed... But, that's me... I'm a classic gamer...

Well, I'm not complaining that they didn't. I still play RE2 a LOT. (But, I have it on Dreamcast, not GC) I'm just saying, I'd love a redone RE2, and they might still get a lot of money off of it. RE3 is a different story, though.

I know it would be cool if they remade the graphics, but If u search the official resident evil site, They DONT say anything about better graphics. I hope im wrong but thats what I got from there site!

And RE is still RE to me. I don't like it that much.

Resident Evil 2 was the best one. If Capcom didn't get so damn lazy recently, they would have made a LOT of money off a remake of RE2.

Lazy is the wrong word. Unwilling is closer, but still not it. It is, in fact, opinional. However, I do agree that they would have made a lot of money off of it, though.
