goki: congradulations, drive careful, drive safely and enjoy the new freedom.
don't worry about twice, Around here it is standard for them to fail new drivers at least 3-4 times before they give them their licence. Most of the new ones go to another county to get it. (S)

ahh good work man. I got mine 4 years ago so I could work on the farm - or so I told the DMV registrar. I don't know what i would have done if I couldn't drive until now when I'm 18.
(i passed it first round, and after scaring the lady and almost hitting a railroad crossing arm, i don't know how that was possible)
I should probably work on mine soon. Im 16 (and a 1/2 as of last Friday), havent even started. I dont know if I want to be responsible for other people's lives yet.
I get to take mine in 29 days! I'm a fairly good driver, plus I know the instructor, so I should be able to pass.
