    Help with acronyms

    What is a GCN?

    Is it a Game Cube?

    Does GCN = Game Cube Nintendo?

    Why isn't it NGC; Nintendo Game Cube?

    ???????????????????????????????????????


    I get tired of all these L337 video game acronyms floating around.

    Yeah, GCN is GameCube.
    They call it GCN instead of just GC to distinguish it from the Atari GameCube.
    And NGC... Well, we can't have people confusing the Cube with a Non-Geosynchronous Carp, now can we?

    Isn't the NGC an orginazation? If so it would make more sence to call it a GCN rather than confuse it with the orginzation.
