I didn't mention the Adventures of Lolo series. There are three of them on the NES. The first one is easier to find and not too expensive, but I think the last two are a bit pricey. The first one is fairly short, but it's a fun playthrough. I recommend it if you can find it for a reasonable price. I haven't played the other two in years, so I really can't say whether or not they're worth playing.
